Maximum and minimum skew of a line of best fit

I have a plot (the points) with std. error bars and I was just wondering how to compute the maximum and minimum skew of that line of best fit in EXCEL (or even in MATLAB). Apparently there is an add-on in excel that can do this. My aim is to get an error for the gradient of the line.

Would appreciate the help, thanks.
