DALTON

I have a gemstone producing what is suspected to be non-ionizing radiation. This gemstone was to be tested for the James Randi Educational Fund million dollar challenge. I am seeking a scientist with expertise in the field of high energy radiation to conduct necessary tests on this gemstone for the JREF million dollar challenge.
The radiation emitted from this gemstone causes the following effects.
- Melts glass with no heat
- kill insects instantly
- stops ice melting at room temperature or any temperature
- causes damage to any and all electrical equipment
These are just a few of the effects.
I am seeking a scientist with expertise in the field of high energy radiation to conduct the necessary experiments to detect and properly identify the radiation emitted from this gemstone. I will qualify to win the JREF million dollar prize if I can prove to the JREF this radiation exists. I am seeking a scientist to conduct tests and who would be willing to certify their test results. This is the only way I can win the million dollar prize.
If I can prove the existence of this radiation through certified test results the JREF will have no choice but to award me the JREF million dollar prize. Failure of the JREF to release the prize money after certified confirmation of this radiation will allow me to move forward with a law suit.
If there is a scientist out there who have expertise in the field of high energy radiation who could conduct my necessary tests I encourage you to contact me regarding this testing.
If you wish to view farther information on this gemstone go to my website;
alienrockwherediditcomefrom.com
If there are any interested scientists out there you are encouraged to submit your e-mail to:
alienrock@alienrockwherediditcomefrom.com
At present I am refusing to allow the preliminary test because the JREF wants to allow a non scientist to conduct experiments on my gemstone. I will not allow this.
Tests have been conducted on this gemstone by NASA, FDA, ARMY, two private laboratories and the University of Michigan.
Tests conducted by the State of Michigan suspect this radiation is non-ionizing radiation.
Please contact me as soon as possible if you are interested.

Sounds like nonsense to me.

mr. dalton, please read the board rules first before posting next time.

That site is really fascinating. He doesn\'t really violate the rules as he\'s done a lot of work, and Xerxes said that the first rule is lenient. This is, after all, the off-topic forum. *points to forum description*
I read all of the site I could, except for the latter two research pages which had book text too blurry. I also read the Randi forum messages where he also posted, and stopped posting. The site leaves out a lot of important details, like what he means by \"instantly\" (Said forum said 30 minutes to hours?), pictures of the dead and mummified bugs, how long ice doesn\'t melt, what all the names of the scientists are in the first pages, whether he knows what nonionizing radiation means, who he is and how he got the rocks, what brand of wood glue he used, and what camera he used.
I\'m very interested in that ice keeping effect. Instead of dismissing it, I prefer to wonder and ponder how it might happen as with all things—that\'s how I became so smart. If it takes months to \"melt\" the glass (BTW, I can\'t tell what you mean by distorting the cases. I can\'t see it; you should put arrows in those pictures.) or make it brittle, and keep ice cold for however long, I can imagine what must be inside the rock. If it at all makes natural radiation, that isn\'t ionised and doesn\'t trip Geiger counters, then could it be making slow helium? (I was going to ask you to try fine copper wire in the beam to see if it made microwaves or radio, but I assume you would\'ve said something about radio interference.) Elsewhere you claimed it absorbed all kinds of energy (How could you tell?) and never heated up or destabilised—it so happens that helium plasma is the decay of choice for most radionuclides, and helium gas like the other noble gases can act as neutral radiation stabler than the other kinds and may or may not be bonded or bound in different materials. If noble gases are shot or pushed through a material hard enough they can become lodged there, changing their integrity and making them brittle. You also said that over months the rock removes the oxygen and makes a vacuum in the case. If stuff is shot through the rock, and through or into the case, stuff which is comparable in size to the air molecules, then I say why not displace the air.
Then you say that the beam comes out a cut surface, and is most intense in a vacuum, when it\'s cold, and when wood glue\'s on the cut. Have you tried looking for helium? Helium\'s extra volatile, and heats up weirdly. If mass is always coming loose, it should show up. Go to a college or university chemistry department and ask to use a fine balance. Use a wire coat hanger to prop up your vase and aim the cut onto the pan to see if the beam can hit. Bring your camera. Then go daily or weekly to see if the rock\'s weight changes (beyond the temperament of the balance).
If that beam keeps ice cold, maybe the very low density of ice compared to most solids causes the beam to punch through instead of knocking and lodging, and ends up carrying away heat like an expanding gas does. (See how stupid scientists are? They said keeping ice from melting was impossible and against thermodynamics. They were in the newsgroups, and Dalton never replied.) Ooh, look at all of the darkened pictures. Could the sky, clouds, window, camera, or rock be making and|or filtering polarised light? This might even explain the double shadows only showing up on film. And some surfaces scatter the polarisation, which might explain why part of the room is bright on film. Step away from the rock and try taking the picture again to the window.
Like I said on eBay and SciToys, I\'ve been working on a lengthy letter to several parties fighting criticism with criticism. I haven\'t done much work on the Randi section, but have plotted an outline for my payback based on my experiences and got started after studying Dalton\'s site. Here\'s the beginning:
First comes an aside. Lately I\'ve been posting on the advancedphysics.org fora, and found the solicitation from the owner of the alienrockwherediditcomefrom.com site and exhibit claiming it emitted nonionising radiation, so I went on Google and found it discussed on the James Randi boards (http://www.randi.org/vbulletin/showthread.php?s=68d386d46db5684292f308b65e502d3b&threadid=44920&perpage=40&pagenumber=2). The same nearsighted rubbish is found in the sceptics and cynics there as above: Randi cronie Kramer and others kept accusing the rock guy of contradicting himself, \"\'In regards to your question, I do not need a scientist at all. This is a request of the JREF!\' Excuse me? Am I missing something here? Let me see if I\'ve got this straight: You send an email stating that you \'refuse to have your device tested by a non-scientist\', then you state here on the forum (see above) that you \'do not need a scientist at all\'????\" without even stopping to think or check that his criticism could be easily demolished because there is almost never any absurdity or contradiction said. On the first page there are more and other people complaining of his alleged contradiction, when he explicitly said he was answering the moderator Patricio\'s question and restating his suggestion. There are others complaining that it doesn\'t take a scientist to prove his claim, and others reminding that scientists are needed to prove his claim! And he gets blamed because these dumbasses can\'t think straight. This is typical of the \"skeptic\"\'s criticisms of paranormal material and statements: One barely shows an ability to understand the context and intent of the writer, which would take a bit of mindreading, even if one has none for reading if only to delude oneself that mistakes were made just to fill up journals with material that doesn\'t really exist. But instead of telepathy the mindreading would be empathy! I wonder if the great majority of antiparanormalists are afflicted with Asperger\'s syndrome (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asperger\'s_syndrome): They are damned to oblivion and irony, having no idea they are full of shit, that which they made and spoke and rubbed all over themselves. There, on advancedphysics.org, the posters cannot even decide what is right: One says that there are no scientific facts, another that theories and laws are scientific facts. They, as a whole, don\'t know what proof or truth or their end mean; those are to be settled by individuals and groups in their circles, and they hold onto their results with fervor and relish lest one with enough skill—not even that related to their profession—come along who disturbs them. They are shielded from dissident groups by turbulence and great mass: Should they all meet and clash it would be the end of the world\'s societies and peoples. I wait for that day. Science is no more definitive than religion.
