Does anyone know of any electrochromatically or electically stimulated paints or phosphoruses. I\'m trying to find a material that I could place on a monitor of sorts and be able to render an image by sending individual charges to each \"pixel\"

Extra Credit: Find a material with a low stimulation threshold, but high enough so that relative buildups of static electricity could not interfere with the electrochromic process.

Thanks,

Oh you mean a CCD....oops; a charged coupled device but in reverse; a reversible CCD.:D

Yes, but it must be reversable. For practical use, the shade of the color would have to be dependent on the voltage that is applied. I\'d be using an RGB interface, such as those seen on televisions and computer monitors.
