CAN ANYONE HELP ME TO SOLVE THIS EQUATION.
A FAMILY CAR (1) RUNS INTO THE BACK OF A SIMILAR VEHICLE (2). THE COLLISION IS COMPLETELY INELASTIC. IF THE CRUSH TO THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT OF CAR 1 IS 5CM, WAHT IS THE CRUSH DEPTH ON THE BOOT OF CAR 2?
DATA= A1= 500N cm-1
B1= 18.8N cm-2
A2= 350 N cm-1
B2= 12.0 N cm-2
